Lab Testing Services

Third party hemp lab testing (i.e. Hemp Cost of Analysis, or “COA’s”)  is a crucial step to ensure that your crop can go from field to market. Although the FDA has yet to announce standards, each state has its own regulations. First, you have to know your state’s rules. Second, you have to work with a hemp testing lab that can provide quality and accurate results. Without an accurate test, a number of events could occur:

  • Inaccurate THC level testing could result in your crop being destroyed
  • Certain elements (metals, foreign matter) may not be properly detected, which could later turn into legal issues
  • The potency of CBD levels or Terpene profile could be under-reported, which in turn could reduce your ROI from processors and customers that pay more for higher percentages.

Not at all hemp lab testing facilities are created equally. That is why Hemp & Prosper has spent the past year vetting labs until we found the select few that we felt were the best of the best. We interviewed a number of hemp growers and industry professionals and found that the following hemp testing labs offer accurate testing across a number of categories:

  • Potency (with moisture analysis when relevant)
  • Terpenes
  • Heavy Metals
  • Pesticides
  • Microbial
  • Mycotoxin
